Coo-Coo Clock

After increasing my vcore by only .05v my 3800+ Venice is completely stable at 2.70GHz. Running F@H on full blast while playing a video and having eight tabs open in Firefox for three hours, CPU temp is still only at 46°C on air cooling. If you want that in Intel GHz (which I only recently learned are describing 6 instructions per cycle instead of AMD's 9), the figure is about 4.05GHz. I'm sure that last fact will garner me a few overemphasized "DUH"s from certain people. Anyway, here's the validated CPU-Z readout.

And here's my X-Mas list in its entirety:

Non-Intentional Retroactivity

In a brand new indication that laying off the sauce would be a bad ass idea, I just remembered something that really happened on November 18th.

Amateis and I went to The Detroit Munny Show! It was held in a small designer shoe store in downtown Royal Oak called LiFT and it was absolutely packed. There were several multi-tiered glass cases with the entrants' custom-painted Munny figures positioned inside with the occasional handmade prop to match. A lot of them were pretty well-done but a few were really outstanding and indicated some serious crafty abilities. Unfortunately there aren't any pictures, it was just way too crowded in the store. Various oafs almost knocked over the display cases numerous times.

One of the nicest surprises of the night was finding out that LiFT sells lots of designer vinyl and plush toys even when they're not hosting a show. Specifically, I had a near-deadly nerd heart attack when I found the mini FriendsWithYou plush dangly toys. Basically, FWY have been my favorite designers of any kind for years now and I'd never gotten to see their toys in person until the Munny show. I nabbed a Malfi and a Red Flyer for only like six dollars each. They are nice, to say the least. It's also nice to know things like this actually do happen locally, too.

That's it for the past! Next week I should have some juicy adventure material seeing as Jeff and I are booking it up north on Friday and spending this weekend at the cabin where there aren't any laws that we know of.
