Dear Mr. Fiasco,
Several weeks ago, this administration finalized the (for us) unusual decision to extend an official apology to you in regard to the offensive comment that slipped by our censors and content control team on September 19th of this year. We would like to take this opportunity to say that at the time our knowledge of your body of work was at best mediocre and after reviewing your album we held an emergency meeting concerning how best to apologize for the now apparent libel we had published. Enough cannot be said to convey how sorry we are.
Food & Liquor is in heavy rotation around the office and these songs in particular; Cool, Daydreamin', The Instrumental, Sunshine, and The Emperor's Soundtrack. We still wonder what influenced you to push Kick, Push (sorry) as the first single, but since you seem to be following it with distribution support for Daydreamin' we won't ask.
Thank you again for taking the time to read our long overdue apology and hope you'll forgive us. Until then, we'll be eagerly looking out for your new projects and your album will remain on repeat.
Sincerely,
The Staff of Hemato 100's
P. S. This is a little strange to ask, but we figured we'd try nonetheless considering how great a guy we now think you probably are. One of our staff members has locked himself in the supply closet and has been sobbing inconsolably for days. He's moaning things which mostly sound like, "Now I'll never get to see the ship and fly away to space forevvvverrrr!" and, "Why did I ever have to find out about this in the fiiiirst plaaaace?" You must understand that this is actually our head writer who's behaving this way. We really need him back to moderate normality so we don't miss deadlines. So, on the off chance that as a result of your recently acquired celebrity status you've gained some pull over at the BBC, could you please-please-please ask them to raise the maximum age of entrants for the Doctor Who Competition from 14 to about 21?
