Karen O Hates Me Now

Apparently on my to-do list today, tucked behind a Post-It note or something where I couldn't see it, was written: LET DOWN KAREN O. IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE.


Guys, don't bother being the one in the precise middle of the front row if you're going to go along with everyone else and reach your hand out to the lead singer of a band throughout the show and then, when she finally touches your hand and offers you the microphone, have to cry with utmost sincerity, "I'M SORRY!" when she asks you to sing the next line of a song from their new album that has been out for like 14 days. In summary, the show was super fun, but I doubt the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are speaking to me anymore.
